At the arrival of the New Year in 2021, Kumyk Akik Village received the first heartfelt gift from Beijing – a donation of books collected by the Xinmu Foundation for Helping the Disabled. The initial batch of donated books was primarily aimed at teenagers and included various titles such as “New Education Morning Recitation” (Grades 1-6), “Who Are You Reading For,” “Collection of Chinese Historical Stories,” “Five Thousand Years Up and Down,” “If Miracles Happen Far Away,” and others, totaling 683 books with an approximate value of nearly 15,000 yuan.
